Food was delicious and fast. Didn't have to wait long. Portions was big and lots of ingredient. Typical old traditional seafood restaurant.

This place has been around for decades. Food is still quite good and quite affordable. Good scenic view by the river. Judging by the crowd, it is still popular. Pork free restaurant

This place has ample parking and located near a huge TEH TARIK seaside. We brought our own fish (harlequin Sweetlips) here for them to cook. We selected 3 types of cooking styles which are Asam, Teow Chew and Mango Fried Fish. Personally I love the Mango Fried Fish and Asam Fish style of cooking a lot. Delicious. On top of that, we also ordered their famous beverage - Pineapple Asam (Blended not the Cordial Syrup type)and it is so refreshing and has to order 2 jars. The side dishes add on will be some stir fried vege and butter cream Sotong (M size) and should have ordered large size since needs to feed for 7 pax. Food: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Price: ⭐ ⭐ Atmosphere: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Good food with wide range of very fresh seafood offering for any tastebuds on Malaysian cooking. Excellent location with beautiful sunset view while dining at this restaurant. It is located at Carey Island which is easily accessible within a short drive from Klang Valley through SKVE, and they have plenty of car park for the convenience of their customers. Good place to be to get away from buzzing city centre during weekend and PH.

The food standard is still the same. Pretty decent. However, what’s not so decent is the service. Some of the waiters are pretty arrogant. Even when politely asking where to seat, the staff looked in disbelief like we were stupid. The reason we asked was because there was β€œreserved” signs on many tables. When taking order the response is a little rude as well. But the food is pretty decent. Especially their fried rice, mantis prawn and a few other dishes. The crabs were smaller than expected for the price but still acceptable. The clams were very fresh. It does get quite packed after 1pm.

Fantastic! The foods are tasty with reasonable price. The restaurant is built on top of the Langat River, overlooking the Carey Island. Highly recommended the salty pepper fried prawn, simply irresistible. Always full house during weekend.

On my second visit, I tried calling in advance to make a reservation and though someone picked up the phone, it was also ended immediately. Happened several times and when I asked, they said it could be that tables were fully booked and they'd only entertain walk-in. Still, a proper reply on the phone would be appreciated as I wasn't sure if the restaurant was opened. Operation hours are as listed, but I did notice groups of people still walking in close to their closing time. And they seated themselves and were served, so I assume the time listed is actually the "last call" before kitchen closes. Service was slow during dinner. We noticed dishes were getting served by batches e.g. a few plates of fried squid going to various tables, then plates of fried rice, and so on. Could be that it was also a weekend night, but it's just something to note. ------- The pineapple sour plum drink is a must-order here. I'm not much of a fan of pineapple but this was exceptionally tasty. Great thirst quencher for the hot weather. The seafood we had were fresh and prices were very reasonable. Portion were quite huge. We ordered "medium" for the dishes thinking it'd be just right, but it was way too much for two of us to finish. Ended up taking away leftovers. Fried rice was a tad salty and oily. I'd opt for regular white rice the next time we're here. Squid was really nice and tender. Do lower your expectations when it comes to service though. Owner / staff was slightly grumpy when they'd show us to the table.
