★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is always crowded when we patronize the famous Tin Tin Beef Noodle next door. We went on a Saturday to try out but it was super crowded and was told about 30 minutes waiting time. We decided to go somewhere else for lunch. We returned today (Monday) and it was still busy but there was available table. We ordered their famous Asam Fish (snapper), deep fried Mayao Fish and stir fried sweet potato leaves, with two plain rice and two sour plum with lime juice. Honestly, the Asam Fish which is supposed to be their signature dish turned out to be “so so” and unimpressive. What was worst was that a small portion of simple stir fried sweet potato leaves cost RM12 where other restaurants we went was only RM7 for small portion of sweet potato leaves. Total cost for what we ordered was RM96 for two of us with only 3 dishes!!! Having said that, the deep fried Mayao Fish was tasty and crispy. We left with disappointment to learn that this place is definitely overhyped and overpriced. If you’re looking for a decent Tze Char Place with more variety of food, we recommend you to check out Teck Sing Restaurant at Taman Sentosa. If you’re craving for Asam Fish, go check out Dulang Lima Cafe or Restaurant Nyonya Treats Cuisine at Taman Perling with more variety of palatable dishes with spices. Obviously, we will not return to this place since it is not worth the waiting time and not good value for money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is famous for Asam fish but it was not in my order list. I ordered fried fish, signature otak-otak and a stir fried vege. For me, it is just a simple dish. Nothing much fancy. It's totally a home cooked mummy taste ? personally think the price is a bit pricey for simple dish like this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An affordable restaurant with great assam curry fish. The deep fried mayau fish is delicious and crispy. The prawns and otak-otak were not bad as well. Overall the foods were great. Staffs were very friendly and polite as well. We were satisfy with the restaurant.
