Light bodied Toddy with a hint of acidity. It's not sweet and has a mildly oily aroma. Worth a try if you are in town.

Bought the toddy for aunty to make the sweet Chinese cake 'huat koay'. The fermented coconut drink makes the 'huat koay' fluffy and it has a distinct sweet flavor.

Was a little inebriated the only time I went in, & it was late & dark, but from what I recall, I got exactly what I wanted...a recycled bottle of Tuak...fermented palm sap i think. Scooped up by the Ladle out of a huge open croc pot where it was stored... Very cheap, affordable & worth a try as it is very refreshing, but me thinks the alcohol content is extremely low

For adventurous drinkers willing to try something different: home brewed palm wine served in recycled water bottles. Only 3 ringgit for a small bottle so worth trying for the fun of it.

If you want authentic & local, then this is definitely the spot. Not really lively, but you come here for the Tuak. Which is actually very tasty, stronger than you expect also. For 2 Ringgits you get a good amount.

I came here to try the Tuak, coconut based alcoholic drink. It's costs Rm 3 and came in a plastic mug. Probably around 33cl. I asked and they said it's around 4% plus. It looks like lemonade but tastes like coconut milk with a bit of a kick. Worth trying for only Rm 3
