โ โ โ โ โ Sister Cook is a Chinese restaurant specialising in Szechuan and Fujian cuisine. The owners and chef are first generation Chinese nationals coming from Fujian. Food quality here is good, and dishes are authentically Chinese. One of the highlight dishes we had was the fish cooked with sour vegetable - the fish was very fresh and the broth had a nice sour and appetizing flavour to it with a nice hint of spiciness. Highly recommended if you're looking for an authentic Chinese meal.

Service is prompt and server is friendly. Parking could be a hassle as it's very limited around the Pulau tikus area.

โ โ โ โ โ A cafe run by Chinese from China with authentic Sha-county ๆฒๅฟ cuisine from Fujian province ็ฆๅปบ็. Due to geographical location close to Taiwan, you will find some similar dishes such as braised products ๅคๅณ, fried sauce noodle ็ธ้
ฑ้ข, and rice with braised minced pork ้ฒ่้ฅญ. A great place if you wish to try something out of ordinary.

โ โ โ โ โ The best authentic Chinese food I have found in Penang. We lived in Sichuan and miss Sichuan spicy food. This is so good and the best I have found! Prices are great! Every other authentic Chinese food I have had in Penang is overpriced and not near as good. We had the ๅ้

โ โ โ โ โ Authentic real taste of chinese food originating from China. The meat dishes seems like losing out to their vege dishes. ๆฐด็

่ all are full of wok hei. Non halal and have limited carpark spaces. The dishes here can compete with ้
ๆฅผ with a much lower price rate.

1) overall - air cond and clean environment, fast and kind service, reasonable price, Chinese Sichuan cuisine, plenty of food selection from Sister Cook
2) Sautรฉed Chinese yam with black fungus ๅฑฑ่ฏ็ๆจ่ณ tasted refreshing and they are generous in giving black fungus. However the carrot tasted too raw for the dish as you could still hear the crunch when you bite
3) Steam pork with garlic ๅๅฎถ่ was meant to mention, pork was sliced and cooked perfectly, the combo of garlic and pork was great and then the moment they melted in your mouth, it was really satisfying.
4) Fish cooked in Sichuan style (ๆฐด็
ฎ้ฑผ) was not as per our expectation, it was not spicy and we expected more fish than potatoes

We wanted to have a light dinner and have some noodles.
The Sizzling Crystal Noodles have a tasty interesting texture and taste. We ended up picking out a lot of sliced green chilli padi. Nevertheless we enjoyed the taste.
Bean curd with Brown Sauce is very delicious.
The dessert Sticky Yam is very interesting and delicious.
Definitely worth a second visit.
