★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is so quaint, it takes me back decades ago following my aunt shopping for her cross stitch notions.
Here, the threads alone take up quarter of the store, neatly arranged from floor to ceiling. Another quarter makes up the laces and borders. I came in for some zippers and sewing tools, and I wasn't disappointed. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and gave me discounts.
Just a little note, even though they've changed the name to Tanion Haberdashery, the shop sign still says Kelantan Union.

Since I am not that knowledgeable in sewing skill this place offer a superb staff to answer your question. Staff sini peramah, kalau tak tahu sangat pasal jahit, boleh la mari sini. Staff baik2.

Although the market is like an old stall but their experience in providing a good material is very competent. You can also ask for a bulk discount. A tailor always have to deal with current fashion. So you will have to find a new trending material to cope with the new trend. Do not worry about it. You can find it here. If there is a new trend today, in a few days you can get the materail at the stall. The quality of the material is qualified. It is suits with the price. Some of the things you can get here are needles, inch scale, all type of zips and machine oil. But, find the best hour to visit it because of the place is at the middle of the town. Make sure you go outside of peek hours if you do not want to trap in traffic jam.
