Kenyir Eco Resort

It was a good tour. We did the 3 days 2-night package including the visit to Kelah Sanctuary and Lasir Waterfall. Upon arrival, we were met at the jetty in Pengkalan Gawi around 11 am by the owner, Mr. Ijam himself, who was very friendly and nice. It was only a 10 min boat ride to the resort. The resort on arrival is amazing. Literally a floating resort in the middle of a lake. Beautiful serene and idyllic view all around. There was a welcome drink, nice cold ice coffee for all of us. The room was beautiful, love the woodworking id. The room was spotless and had a nice fresh smell from the bedsheet. Upon checking in, I had a problem with my bed, and once I told the owner. Immediately we were changed to the next room. The drawbacks are toilets are shared and located outside your room and not a small child or OKU friendly. Frankly, we really love their hospitality. Staffs are so friendly and give that personal touch to every request you made. Foods are delicious. You can even get different local menus served throughout your stay. We brought lots of snacks, instant noodles and instant drinks. There’s hot water for you to prepare your own drinks and foods if you want to eat between the meals. There was an inflatable boat for a visitor to play for free. My kids enjoyed it very much. You could also rent a banana boat, jet ski and there’s a water taxi for you to go fishing or sightseeing around the lake. The morning view was amazingly breathtaking, we flew the drone and took photos of the amazing view at the lake. This is a great place for some peace and quiet with no WiFi and just great relaxation. Definitely recommend. p.s. For the Kelah Sanctuary, if you have a small kid below 5, I would recommend you to get a babywearing \ carrier. Easier for the child and parent because it's going to be a long and difficult walk when carrying a child in the forest.

Excellent family holidays. The accommodations & food were great The owner extremely friendly and very accommodating.

The place is nestled in a quiet part of the lake (if there is no karaoke. :) ) The resort arranged our trip to the fish sanctuary and the water falls. It was quite a pleasant way to see the Kenyir lake. When we asked if we can try the Kelah fish, the owner found fresh ones and cooked it for us. The resort is quite basic. The toilets are shared, so be prepared for this. However, they are kept clean. Showers are ensuite. We were a group of 6. They gave us a room with bunk beds. They are comfortable but the beds squeaked when you move. As long as your friends are nice to you, you don't have to worry. The shower drain may need to be fixed. It was flooding.

It was excellent place to stay. very calm and relax. the food quality is good plus the staff is very helpful and friendly.

What a great place to stay. We travel with a big family and stay here for 3 days. Really amazing memory. The staff is great. Meals also very great.

Located at far end of the lake accessable by short boat ride is this eco resort built on pontoons. The rooms are clean with basic amenities. Bathroom is attached but toilet is sharing, the room has air-conditioning unit as well. Food is included in the package and there's a common area with TV and seating arrangement. Food is served there during lunch or dinner or upon order, this serves as a store as well. They have life jackets for people to swim in the lake, activities include banana boat, jet ski, boating, tours etc. It's a nice place for weekend gateway to rejuvenate your mind and body.

Very cozy and comfortable. I suggest have wifi, can use the amenities like dry machine,washing machine. I suggest that the room 6 remote control are fixed and socket are fixed. I suggest have variety beverages and food are be cooked. I suggest have small cocktail or mocktail or different kind of beverage and food to be served. I suggest that the room should repair on room 6 top that have holes and supporting bed are well maintained
