★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasonable car rental in Ipoh -- handy for driving out to Cameron Highlands. Can arrange to pick up at Ipoh airport, at their office in town, or be picked up at a hotel.
Our rental car was a bit on the old side -- a front bumper that became looser over the trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very bad experience. Had a lot of trouble delivering their promise. Supposed to pick up an Axia but gave an old Wira instead. Promised to switch the Wira back to Axia at 2 pm, but ended up switching around 5 pm.
They didn't provide a full tank of petrol, which is the norm, but gave us an empty one instead. When we returned the car with an empty tank, they requested an extra RM10 of petrol from us so that they can drive the car back. We refused.

For my current trip, I'm booking for Almera. However upgraded to Sylphy without any additional charges. Great service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suck service...I call them earlier and they agreeed to rent me a Nissan Sylphy. I ask them need any deposit or documentation to submit, they say no need just straight forward to get the car. The next day when I travel from Singapore to Ipoh, i wait them up to 1 hour. After an hour one Uncle come and keep looking at me and say that I was too young cannot rent me Sylphy, only Saga! I was curious and need to rushing for my business meeting! He look down at me until I show him my Director name card then he stop argued! And ask me to go to another place to get the car, from asking price RM300 anyhow increase to RM380. After all the arguments finally I get the Nissan Sylphy and that was very old car !
After one day I return the car wait him one hour again and he charge me for RM30 again! This is very frustrating experience with Maju Jaya car rent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ everything went smooth, great service at a very good price! Even that once we arrived the place was closed, but we asked the lady in the shop next door is the car rental open. She immediately called the owner and he arrived at the place within 15 min. It was worth to wait. We paid very good price for the small (non automatic) car we drove to Camerin Highlands. The size of the car was perfect considering small mountain roads heading to CH. Highly recommend! The owner even came to our hotel to pick up the car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rental process was quite smooth, didn’t request for any deposit other than the rental price. The quoted rental price was comparable with other companies. The agency also recommended us which restaurants and places to visit, and even provided us with some parking coupons and maps.
We rented a brand new Proton Saga (around 2 months old), so the car didn’t have any issues and could fit 4 adults comfortably.
I would likely rent again with them in the future as the pickup and return at the airport is extremely convenient.
