β β β β β I'm writing this to warn you never ever purchase any tours from Keris Travel IPOH/KL. My family made a BIG MISTAKE when they purchased a 5D4N Danand trip in Matta Fair and fly with AirAsia.
Before pruchase the tour, my mum checked with the salesperson on the infant fare and she was being told it's apprxo. RM100++. Once deposit made, 02months prior to the departure, they told us the infant taxes increased to RM550!!! When I checked through the AirAsia portal, the infant taxes cost only RM100 and the manager - Chris claim that the Group fares is more expensive than the website fare (which doesnt make sense) and ratyes is control by the HQ side, they could not explain why it cost RM550 but we have to pay for it to confirm the tour.
I checked with Chris whether I can purchase the AirAsia flight on my own and I just take the land tour from Keris Travel since the GROUP Fare is more expensive, she said CANNOT, it comes as a PACKAGE.
I warn the consumer from either KL/IPOH not to purchase any tours from this company DUE to the following reasons:
- Sudden increased on your tour fare or taxes once deposit paid, buy at your own risk
- last minute hidden cost may impose, buy at your own risk
- Poor/NO customer service. Always NO/delay in reply on customer quiries, buy at your own risk
- NOT Helpful. We have two infant and requested for a baby cot, the customer service agent straight away told us there's no baby cot in the hotel.
- Asked for travel insurance fare. No answer no reply. Buy at your own risk
- Checked on their FB page, all negative reviews. Buy at your own risk!
