This is the first time me and my sister went bravely by ourself. The track was superb. Half way through we macam lost. But we were lucky to met one of the residential guy (uncle) he then lead us. Overall if u looking forward intermediate track this hiking place is not bad. U can prepare some food for monkeys, dogs and wild boar ?

Great hiking trail for beginners. As for me 50 years old, i need rest stop several times haha. Take right trail for longer route. About 40mins. Left trail shorter about 20mins. I go up using right trail n go down through left trail. Nice kl view on right trail. This trail also can rock climbing. Can see babi hutan, monkeys even snake on tree. Hikers also bring their dogs. Sooo happy to see them. Park at temple for rm2. Also got free parking but full. But just a short wait to get parking as earlier hikers going back

A short way up there are 2 paths up , take the one on the right going up, less traffic, a bit longer but way more scenic. If you have 2 hours plus and want to hike this is a very convenient option.

Bukit Ketumbar is a nice hiking spot that to reached the top is rather easy. You can choose the short route or the long route. Short route is a steep hike that kept going upwards, on average it would take a normal stamina person 25-ish mins. The long route on the other hand would take another 60 mins. The route itself is okay, not too challenging nor easy. Just gotta beaware of rain on the previous night as some place would be muddy and wildboar. Overall its an intermeadiate hike that all could enjoy. Parking however is a little cumbersome, you either come early for the free parking or pay RM 2.

We went on a Friday and it was slightly crowded. I reckon its more crowded during the weekends. Safe to hike. We took the right path which was really steep. Overall fun place to hike that's so close to residential areas.

First time here for my weekend hiking. Kinda slippery as it was raining the night before. Quite challenging as I had took the longer track to go up without realizing it was that hard. Encountered lots of people out of breath and 1 even fainted. I have to stop for 10 minutes to catch my breathe. I encountered lots of wild boars at the top. First time see these actually! At the top you can even see a small stall selling snacks for those who need it. I was left wondering how strong he is by going up everyday. When you come down you may even see a big buddha picture hang on a tree. That was superb! I took almost 3 hours for the whole course and it was worth it.

Not too hard for the route. There’s one pit stop for lookout and the peak full of gym facilities and a small mini mart. You could bumped into wild boar if you are lucky. Not harmful but have to becareful. Happy hiking!

First time hike this Ketumbar Hill and really a good experience for me. Personally, I suggest to opt for right trail when you first encountered junction. Longer trail but suitable for beginners. (Both trails will bring you to the same peak) If you're taking the right trail, you will come across a lookout point when about reaching half of the hill. You can enjoy the KL city scenery as well as breathing some gentle breeze. The 2nd half of the trail will not be as challenging as the first half. Enjoy your steps and if you're lucky you will start to see wild boars before reaching the peak. However, left trail are suitable for experienced hikers as it will lead you to steeper steps and all the way up to the hill peak. (Encountered 2 hikers vomiting when I follow this trail to go downhill) Overall, I like the place and will come back again. (Some areas are quite slippery, try to wear a good pair of shoes ? hiking this hill)
