โ โ โ โ โ came here for the promotion. 30% off on a tuesday evening.
Here are my 2 cents. hear me out and you won't regret it. There was a queue, I know its promo time but i think the marketing team was "prepared". Instead of the usual way of taking order by waiter/waitress, they took orders by app. The app was messed up. ended up ordering 2 set meals with 2 soup and 2 chinese tea costing rm47.00. first of all, seriously? one set meal for over rm20 and you get a chinese tea and just a soup for free? How "generous", and the tea wasn't good at all. smelt like overnight tea. How was it set meal if every other drinks and desserts are extra charges?
That was not all, the food wasn't good as it was promo time and there was too much customer to entertain, to make it short, the food is disappointing. Ended up having to wait half an hour on top of the queue time.
In the end, there was a service charge and sst that costed rm39 for the entire meal. That's pretty standard but it another hidden charge.
so was it worth it you ask me? Even with the promo, it wasn't, id had two good kfc dinner plate if i went to kfc, had my dinner earlier and be satisfied with it. goodbye kim gary, your promo just shoved me away forever.

Delicious food and tasty.
Black Pepper Sauce is bit spicier than expected.
Overall service is okay.
Price is affordable.
Worth for a visit.

1) Overall - hong kong style restaurant, long queue during peak hours, clean environment, plenty of hong kong style food choices, kind service from Kim Gary Restaurant @ Queensbay Mall
2) ็ฝๅฎๆฑค Luo Song Soup was one of my favourite as it was appetizing (sour) that triggers your stomach to have more good food from Kim Gary. Hehe
3) cheese baked rice is their signature but I thought the taste was only average, could have improved on the portion and taste.
4) Bursting meatball was good actually with the extra coating of honey and sesame after frying. good snack option to go
5) popcorn chicken was okay
6) fried udon with chicken - tasted good with udon smooth texture and plenty of slice chicken pieces. one of my comfort food
7) club sandwich tasted average, no surprises from there
8) spicy noodle was really spicy. Do not like it.

โ โ โ โ โ Hong Kong-ish styled food with very reasonable price. Have to rate the service a 5 stars, the crew are always there to help. Food used to be on the lower end as most of it are "fast food like" that prepared beforehand and put it out when u ordered, for noodle dishes it used to only have instant noodle. However, newly added menu provides more variety of taste and more flavourful dishes. Now it even has food such as Japanese ramen to Thai's stir fried minced meat with basil. Definitely recommended for now.

โ โ โ โ โ This place is usually very busy especially during the weekends so you will have to queue for a while if you are unlucky.
The staff service could use some improvements because they seem to hesitate in making sensible decisions in table and seat combining when a customer is bringing a toddler or baby with a stroller. Seriously, please get your manager over to handle the simple situation if your normal staffs are not up to the task.
Other than that, the food is delicious and arrived at a reasonable pace so we are pretty happy with it. I have always seen the food prices here as being reasonable so even with some flaws of the place, we will still be back again.

โ โ โ โ โ Kim Gary offer Hong Kong style meal. It has wide variety of dishes to select from! Their set meals come with borsch soup which is their speciality as well. They are also famous for their cheese baked rice. Most of their foods are not bad. They got new menu which is the ramen, we tried the black ramen, not bad but very salty thou.
