★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is so delicious! We added octopus in the noodle and it was so good! 100% would recommend. Aircond on specific spot can be cold but just ask the people to switch it off and on again later. A jug of lemon tea for rm12 is super worth it if you are dining with many people. Price overall is reasonable. Have come back for many times now. Will visit again soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't expect the food here to be this bad. At this price point one would expect much more and much better. The first thing that disappointed us was the hot tea. We totally didn't expect the tea to be just two tea bags served in a paper cup of hot water. The dakgalbi set tasted okay at first but then the more we ate it the more it felt less than average. The cheese in the cheese ring is also average. Finally, the ramen served was just ramen out of an instant noodle packet. The ventilation inside the restaurant is also bad. They don't have local ventilation around the wok, which makes the smoke goes all around the restaurant and drawn away only by the exhaust on the ceiling. This must be the most disappointing Korean food we've had in a while. There's still quite a lot of people in the restaurant probably because other restaurants here in big box are not opened yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been enjoying the delicious pan fried chicken with Mr. Dakgalbi’s special spicy sauce for quite a few months now.
I really love the slightly brown umami cooked sauce and the juicy chicken. Add on sides noodles, tteok and a cheese ring to complete the meal.
That’s how I like my Dakgalbi...
Having meals at Mr. Dakgalbi Sunway Bigbox got me a loyalty card where I could collect stamps to get freebies as I ate. I was so surprised to be the first completer of the loyalty card, and was awarded the first VIP card ever.
I truly wish and hope that Mr. Dakgalbi will continue to serve us with their delicious and sumptuous dishes through this challenging time and beyond...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since I dah boikot mr dakgalbi branch Toppen sbb bad attitude & service bulan puasa hari tu. So I try my luck here and WOW I didn’t expect that this branch is better! Sunway bigbox branch got more taste in their dakgalbi. Their portion is big & SEDAP semua secukup rasa! Their staff also friendly served us with smile. Definitely repeat even my house is far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mr.Dakgalbi has been around since the opening of Big Box in Dec 2019. Having survived not only the isolated location but also the pandemic for 2 years. There must be something unique that allow this Korean restaurant to operate till now, and today we were there to find out what it was. Once we walked in, the friendly owner greeted us and shown us to our table quickly. We ordered their signature dish with noodles and rice for 2. A giant pan with raw ingredient was placed in front of us within 5 mins. The server cooked everything in front of us, leaving us with the giant pan and all the ingredient neatly parked around the pan. It was a simple presentation, but we were already pretty impressed by it. The giant pan dish is called a dakgalbi and it was delicious. The chicken was well marinated and the gochujang sauce perfectly balanced the meat, cabbage, rice cake, potato and cheese. The rice and noodle were fried within the pan and neatly parked at the side leaving it to crisp up the bottom. At the end of the dish, we were trying to scoop up the crispy bits like a dog digging up it’s long lost bone. Nothing goes to waste (evidently in the last photo). As you tell by now, our excavation session says a lot on how scrumptious the meal was. When you are in the area, do dropby and support the local business especially when they are really good at what they do.
