KLCC Observation Deck - Kuala Lumpur City Centre

Best place to have a look at the Kuala Lumpur city. The observation deck at 86th floor of world's tallest twin towers is a must go place if you are visiting Malaysia. You have to buy a ticket before you enter 30minutes tour to this observation deck.

Amazing architecture. Incredible landmark and icon of KL The towers them selves are offices for the national oil company Petronas. (Hence the name) - one tower also has a few other companies resident. You can walk around the towers and between the middle (through the mall) for free. If you head down stairs there is a “museum” where you can look at the building and design of the towers, this is also where you get tickets to go up. There is a limit of 800 people allowed up per day. These go up in groups of 20, in half an hour slots. You see first the bridge, then the observation deck. The staff inside are fairly friendly and professional. You get a small 2 min talk on the towers, most other info is on screens or info points around the tour. It felt a little hurried but not too bad. They do the usual thing where you get a photo taken of you in front of a green screen, then they try and sell the photo to you - this is a total rip off, costing 130RM for a paper copy of the photo, in a flimsy cover. They also try to tell magnets for 66RM (again, a rip off) The cost of the visit is 80RM per person - to buy the tickets, I would visit the towers at the start of your trip, and book for a day when you can fit it in - queue are terrible in the morning, so head down on your first day after 10am and book for a day in the future, you’ll get a better time slot selection. They take Visa and Mastercard I’d give it about 2-3 hours total, if you spend some time taking photos outside Overall nice experience, a little pricy, but it’s a must do in this city.

Unique experience. A truly spectacular piece of man made structure. So huge and tall yet so remarkably close to human scale at ground level that you'll never feel that its sheer scale is in any way impeding our lives. At level 86, the spectacular view that it presents were truly remarkable. A must visit for all!!

Nice place to spend an hour with friends or family. Terrific views of the city from all directions. Try to go at 7:00 so you can get the day time and night time views. Tickets are 80RM. Goes up to 86 floors. Skybridge is included in ticket price.

Amazing views from the top. I would seriously recommend you purchase your tickets online as their are only a limited number of tickets sold daily and the ques will be long. A ticket will get your a guided tour of one of the towers and the sky bridge. Very little time is given and we felt rushed. Worth it but wish we could spend as long as we like. Tours take about 1hr.

Unless you have Acrophobia, you should make a trip here. The view is amazing, not the mention the architecture of the bridge and building. Cant imagine KL without KLCC!

I like observation deck! It's the best time to go for Malaysian. Less tourist, they even open up booking online for local. Before this, you need to queue up in the morning for local to buy the tickets. Now it's even convinient. Enjoy the scenery. Especially when it's a good day as today.

Amazing views at 86 floor of Petronas Twin Tower and only MYR 28 per person (Malaysian price) very reasonable.
