Klinik Dr Ko (Ipoh)

Been a client of Dr Ko for more than 10 years. Had bad acne as a teenager and into early adulthood and Dr Ko & team did their best to help rectify my acne issues. Friendly and experience staff with good results. Worth the $$

Dr Ko has really helped me a lot in my journey to have a better and clear skin. The products work well on my skin. Dr Neil and his staffs are very professional and attentive with my needs!

Seeing the staffs talking so nice and polite to a customer, while at the same time bad-mouthing him in mandarin, is very fascinating experience haha. This things never gets old. Please have some respect for your customers, as they going there to pay you, not asking your money.

Useless. After a month using the skincare regime they gave, enduring sticky face every night, just to make me revert back to my rm20 face wash and cheap cream bcause that works better for my face than their overpriced product. I thought their products gonna works like PDRN or something for the price like that. A month supply from this clinic equal to 4 years supply of my usual skincare products. It is disgusting to see how they trick you into buying their total useless products.

Great service. Friendly staffs. Doctor is also very helpful. I had acne problem before. My skin is much much better now. 100% would recommend!!

I know that some doctors in Dr KO skin specialist are either esthetic doctors or dermatologist depending on who's on duty, so I was just expecting the basic care. (I was initially planning to visit dermatologist clinic but all appt were full and my skin condition is quite an emergency situation so I had to go to Dr KO as they accept walk in) The Dr attending me (Dr Neil, aesthetic Dr) and the staff nurse are all nice and soft spoken, courteous. However, during the course of consultation, few questions were asked regarding my skin to find out the root cause or triggers, and no advise was given to help improve my skin and the doctor did not come out with a diagnosis/ I would even accept a differential diagnosis if he even mention one. And no explanation whatsoever. Maybe not many questions were needed as they will just give the usual course of drugs (steroid, antibiotic and antifungal) or maybe he is better versed with esthetic part (He did mention that I might have scars) of dermatology and not the pathological aspect. But that is not the issue. what prompted me to write this review is due to the fact that when I asked for the prescription of the drug to buy my own medication outside, all he gave me was the drug name for antihistamine, antibiotic and antifungal (No dosage and no duration of intake) how do u expect a pt to buy anything that way? That is not how a prescription should be given. I proceed to ask the nurse to reconfirm with the Dr and pls ask for the proper dosage prescription. Then only the nurse came back with a proper prescription. And no follow up appt to check whether my condition gets better. Kudos to him for not hard selling their products during consultation and great job on the steroid jab that was given. Really tried to make it painless. However maybe more care should be given to the consultation, instead of just jumping in to giving the usual course of meds. To the others, do visit them for a great service and maybe if you're searching for something to solve your acne or facial. they are pros in that. But maybe not for eczema related. Better off in a proper dermatologist clinic. If I was not in a rush, I would have waited for an appt slot elsewhere.

Went for ance problem but the doctor didn't care about my face situation, didn't ask any question to investigate what causes the issues. He just trying to sell the treatment package in an unprofessional way and cost me $80 for consultant fee.
