โ โ โ โ โ Really an extraordinary & relaxing stay! We arrived late coz of the heavy causeway jam. However, Xiao Di is so patient & hospitable. He even went the extra mile to use a motor bike with a carriage to transport my elderly mum to the chalet. Thanks Xiao Di!!

โ โ โ โ โ Definitely a good get away if you like quietness and the sea. It's well equiped and chilling too. Do bring your fishing equipment as they have a rather distanced jetty for getting some sea fishes. DO NOT jump down to water as they are jellyfishes around.
Oh yeah, no wifi but got 4G.
You need to park at the designated parking area or you will get a fine. Then, either you walk in via the village corridor or taking Xiang's boat in.

โ โ โ โ โ View was quite nice especially during sunset and sunrise. Nearby there was a shop which sold Beancurd for 3RM each. That shop is very recommended as the beancurd was cheap and delicious.
But the price of the rooms was too expensive. I rented 2 rooms as i had 8 people and the price was 900 riggint which is about $300 for a night. Wi Fi was not provided and the fridge was not working.

โ โ โ โ โ This homestay is at the far end of Kukup and quite unconvenience to go town by walking, especially with elderly. There are no fan install and will felt very hot even is for dinner with steamboat. Fan is upon request then the owner will bring out. The 2nd day have to rush out for lunch else will miss the boat timing due to ebb tide, and lunch is serve by restrorant at town, with limited seat. However, the best part is can view both sunrise & sunset at this homestay. i was lucky to have a rom which can view the sunrise from balcony.

โ โ โ โ โ Overall experience is great as the room is facing the sea (unblock) whereby you get to see both sunrise and sunset. The wind is strong. It takes you 15 to 20 mins walk from the Jetty to the homestay. The breakfast is so so only if you don't mind (packet nasi lemak, porridge, fried noodles, and some snacks). The homestay come with a mini gym. If you just want a getaway without any entertainment, this will be a good place to stay with.

The setback is...
1. It mentioned the room can take up 5 adults, but the 2 queen size bed is just nice for 4 adults...so....where do the 5th adults sleep? There is no sofa bed at all.
2. The aircon is not cold.
3. The toilet is leaking.
4. There is no wifi provided
5. The mobile network is weak
6. If you are a light sleeper then don't book as the motorcycle will zoom pass your area very often.

โ โ โ โ โ Very nice view from this location as it is directly next to the sea. We are able to see tide rise and fall from here easily. Accommodation is comfy, lots of room for families even for 8 of us. Only 1 toilet in the room but can utilize the toilet outside the room for showers. Facilities include mahjong, vending machine and pool table (2nd floor). Only difficulty is walking out due to the location which would take about 10-15 mins walk to go out to the main street. There is options to take the boat in which will cost RM10.
