We spent nearly 2 hours on our dinner and we enjoyed every minute of it. Excellent food and service. Of course, the amazing location on the beach and the view to the sea and islands. Must try their dessert.

Good food! We went on a lazy Wednesday afternoon for lunch. Ordered their Malay set lunch for you consisting of fermented beef, yellow chicken curry, grilled fish and ulam. Everything was delish, and we polished off everything. Flavours were intense esp the grilled fish and chicken. Will visit again when next in Langkawi.

Make sure you ask for the beach seating! And don’t hesitate to change where you sit at your table so you both enjoy a sunset view. Service is good, food is tasty (but not spicy unfortunately - even the dishes with chilli) and you will pay resort pricing. The menu on their website is out of date. We had a pre-dinner cocktail, entree, main and a glass of wine with our mains and it was 250 RMB.

I had an awesome Candle Light Dinner experience in this restaurant! Its hidden Gems in Langkawi where not much people dine here. According to the waiter, most of the customer are foreigner currently not much people as only locals are around in Langkawi. Really hope border open soon with covid vanish from the world soon! Hope to revisit in near future! Kudos to all the friendly staff who make sure everything is all arranged and nicely prepared. Sadly due to rain, the table was set on the restaurant instead of on the beach. But we still get to enjoy nice view from the restaurant ?

Went for dinner for our anniversary while in Langkawi. We called ahead and booked a table to ensure we’d get seated. When we arrived, the tables were set up in two rows, with the front row having an uninterrupted view of the sea and sunset. We asked if we could sit in the front row but were told they were already booked. We weren’t made aware when booking that you could book a front or back row table. 6 tables were empty at the front when we first got there, and by the time we left over an hour later, 3 tables were still empty and hadn’t been occupied by other guests. The food was OK but felt a bit overpriced. You’re mostly paying for the fact that you’re eating directly on the beach. In the distance, we could see a flamethrower performing which was cool. Service was good, although we did order sweetened iced tea and it arrived without sugar at first. Overall an OK experience but we were a bit disappointed by the seating situation.

La Sal restaurant is at Casa Del Mar, but it is opened to public for dining as well. We had our breakfast every morning and I am always looking forward to it. Their nasi lemak is good, their Egg Benedict and Penne Lasagna are among my favourite. I enjoy their croissant with their house made jam, specifically passion fruit & mango, together with some beef salami, chicken ham and cheeses. On the last night of our stay (15/5/22) we ordered the 7-course dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The set up was on the beach and they lit up candles. It was a windy night but we enjoyed our dinner very much. Every dish was a delight and their staff came often to chat with us, ensuring that everything is well . Do give La Sal a visit if you are in Langkawi. You will not regret it.

Ordered king prawn marinara pasta and chicken percik pizza for lunch. Both dishes were flavourful, however the pizza crust was a little too thick and dense. Direct view of the beach, I imagine it will be stunning during sunset. Expect some delay due to short of staff during Raya holiday season. Otherwise it's a pleasant experience overall
