β β β β β The food served here is beyond terrible, and tasteless. We were told that we need to wait for 30min and we said okay to it.. but when the food arrived, all foods looks like been cook yesterday. The squid is soggy, beyond edible.. cold!! The mutton is also soggy, and cold!! The Nestum prawns are over cooked and chewy! Shows disrespect to the food. After waiting, we thought that we will be served with freshly cook foods but we are beyond disappointed. All dishes are served cold, soggy and like has been cooked overnight.
STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED!
mind you, i am level 8 google contributor, and this is my honest personal feedback...

Come here during weekdays to get seat on the pondok easily. No need booking or need wait. Just walk in and get seat.
Too much hype, but it's just a nice place to chill

β β β β β Better come after lunch hours, so you have best spot βpondok style lunchβ if you come on lunch hours so you have to wait for the best spot. Price wise ££, i can say βOkayβ not too expensive. Just nice.. and food is absolutely yummilicious. And more like kampung style. ?

β β β β β Nice place to dine in. Service was quite slow, probably because there were lots of people. We came for dinner so we were not able to take photos of nicer views of the place. Nevertheless, the food - yes, it was like what most people said in past reviews. Looks great in the big talam though.

β β β β β The environment is good but the physical food doesn't match as what you see in the menu. We order 4 persons Kendawang set but the portion is for 2 persons. Besides there is no keropok and a little ulam.
The price is a bit higher.

β β β β β The service is very very very slow. The staff here looks like theyβve been forced to be here. Walk around taking orders as if their taking a fresh air at Cenang Beach. They look pretty much unhappy as if theyβre having some kind of PMS. Took them freaking 40mins for Apple Juice and Coke! Pretty amazed with how bad their service. After 1hour 20mins, food here. Look at the rice, like Nasi Lemak rm0.50 portion. I would rate this place 1/10

Under the hot sun, we sit at the small pondok there, and we did not feel so warm.
The foods taste nice with reasonable price.

β β β β β The hut concept and its surroundings are unique! Food are cold like leftover taste, service are slow. Took about ten minutes to pay at the counter. For pictures taking is great, for food not recommended. Will not come back again.
