โ โ โ โ โ Staff were super funny+friendly. As usual, the food was tasty and fast to be served! If you like prawns and are too lazy to peel them, get the dry buttered prawns and ask them to remove the shell for you! All you gotta do is eat them! ??

โ โ โ โ โ Patronized this restaurant about 2 months ago and ordered their Cantonese fresh water prawn noodles (sang har mee) instead of the normal seafood fare. The dish came with two average-sized prawns cooked with the usual noodles, egg and starch gravy, spring onions and ginger. The noodles were rather disappointing as they were not well prepared, being like one big flat and hard pancake with neither the expected 'wok hei' (wok aroma) nor the right texture. The bill for the noodle dish and two glasses of warm water came to RM149.90! I would consider this very pricey (despite it being listed as market price in the menu) as the serving and meal was only for two persons.

โ โ โ โ โ The best chilli crab ? served with fried mantou or steamed mantou . I personally find here at Lala Chong they cook it well ! The taste of the gravy are so delicious. I usually will request to be slight spicy .
Beside their delicious chilli crab their wide spread of seafood dishes are also a must try ! One thing for sure ut is value for money & it never fails to satisfy a hungry tummy!

Kam hiong lala, fried salted egg CUTTLEFISH, fried bun and sour mango.
Average:
Chilli crab a little sour and I prefer more eggy with lesser ginger, Indonesia prawn is on the creamy flavour.
Not for me:
Oyster omelette, some funny taste like un dry wet clothes ?

โ โ โ โ โ Food is below average, have been there twice, tried the lala soup, beancurt claypot, steam prawns, steam & curry fish, butter crab, soy chicken, etc. Lala soup is indeed very good.. all others is below average. Service is below average and I witness a lady manager (green shirt) shouted/scolded an elderly staff waiter (yellow shirt) right in front of customers. Very unprofessional. Last time for me here.

โ โ โ โ โ Having buka puasa with colleagues here. Taste is great. Delicious foods. Love the fish dishes. We had 11 dishes for 10 paxs. Everyone enjoying our meals together. Parking available. Price on a high side but worth it

โ โ โ โ โ The fish was very good and fresh. Same goes for the crab
Lala soup was nice but the lala itself was slimy and I could feel the sand when eating
The prawns were definitely not fresh as it was breaking up and skin stuck to the meat.
The yam basket chicken filling was tasty and tender but the yam ring itself was hard.
Was disappointed as the standard has dropped.
Edit : The staff and service was great. Else it would have been 2 stars.
