β β β β β Good durian and convenient location but be prepared to pay extra rm5 to rm10 per kg. Service can be improved though.

β β β β β Expensive durian, but should be according to season nowadays. Heart breaking to know the durian price. However, we found ourselves RM5 Pandan coconut water! It's really satisfying. We order one after another.

β β β β β Total scam, aiming tourists. Quoted RM $35 for a particular breed of durian. When he weighed, he keyed in $45 instead which I noticed. I questioned him and he deflected the question saying the particular breed at $35 is only the small ones which he pulled out a random durian and said itβs the last.
Total rip off. I walked off. Locals I spoke to also claimed they are a total scam. Try ah teik durian instead which is 600m away. Quality durians, reasonable pricing and excellent service.

β β β β β These durian sellers are the most arrogant bunch in the whole of Penang. Been to Jelutong Market where there is 2 stalls were ver honest and confident, Been to the durian van outside fatty loh at fettes park(top seller and really honest people with great durians)Been to macalister road ah teik a bit expensive but at least non condescending and treats you like a customer with respect but nothing prepare me for the treatment from these anson road durian rip off vendors. They get customers by the tourbus in loads, customers from china, singapore and hong kong. they dont want your business. They rather rip off the tourists with their 200-300 ringgit per durian musang kings. I rocked up in my nephews lil old bomb and I asked for musang king. The guy saw me driving a perodua said the musang king is not for ppl like me, it cost 250ringgit per biji. I should look at the cheap durians. Wow how arrogant is this business, luckyly I did not bycicye there or else they will ask me to clear their leftover durian skin. These guys are pure rip offs. Any durian stall in Penang is a more honest pick than these unscrupulous people as I too, sad to say got ripped off for the sake of my pride to buy a really heavy disgusting durian off these dishonest vendor. Terrible people, go elsewhere and spend money on ppl that appreciates and never cheat you.

β β β β β Nearly every durian season, I would be bringing my visitor friends to this durian stall. Mid June could be a good time!!
High graded durian like Musang King, Black Thorns etc are sold. Many complained that of steep price but I am always assured of premium quality durians sold and they were being "guaranteed". If of poor value, after being opened, the durian could be "returned"
Be on the look out of the squirrels at the top of the trees. It was always fun, to feed the squirrels and human, with good durian!!!
