โ โ โ โ โ How to make mango cheesecake.
Ingredients
BASE:
โข150 g / 5 oz Arnott's Marie Biscuits (17 crackers), or digestives, Graham Crackers or other plain sweet biscuit
โข100 g / 3.5 oz unsalted butter , melted
โข2 tbsp white sugar
MANGO:
โข700 g / 1.4 lb mango flesh (2 large mangoes) (Note 1)
FILLING:
โข4 1/2 tsp gelatin powder (Note 2)
โข1/2 cup / 125 ml cold tap water
โข500 g / 1 lb Philadelphia cream cheese, softened (2 blocks)
โข2/3 cup / 150g caster sugar (superfine white sugar)
โข300 ml / 10 oz whipping cream*
MANGO JELLY:
โข3/4 tsp gelatin powder (Note 2)
โข1/4 cup / 65 ml cold tap water
โข1 tbsp lemon juice
TOPPINGS (OPTIONAL):
โข300 ml / 10 oz whipping cream*
โข1 tbsp white sugar
โข1 tsp vanilla extract
โข1 large mango, cut into cubes
โข2 passionfruit
Price range is rather fair but a bit overhyped.

โ โ โ โ โ Locals were saying this place serve the same ambience as kula cake place. They use old bungalow to act as a restaurant with industrial interior design. Food mostly western and bbq. Not too extravagant but delicious combined with the place. We had to queue for a bit to get inside. So booking beforehand is advisable.

โ โ โ โ โ Spacious new space from lila wadi! Like finally, congrats on the new space. The best mango cheesecake in town! must have, can even tapau back to KL. Excellent mango cheesecake, they have other flavour but never try just yet. Toilet could be improved tho, bidet is using rubber pipe doesnโt look aesthetically nice with the whole bungalow cafe. Open after 3pm, please check the operating hour before you come.

Lamb chop order medium, taste like rubber bandโฆ.need to improve

Mango cheesecake is very delicious.
Although the first impression is more to ice cream instead of cheesecake.
No aircond but windy.

โ โ โ โ โ Dine here last nite wit a group of friends. They served local menus, western, grilled, and desserts. Had lamb fried rice, prawn fried rice, mushroom shitake beef burger, new york beef burger, honey lemon cooler, mushroom soup and Toblerone cheesecake. Overall food was nice and tasty. The patty burger is juicy. The toblarone cheesecake is taste more like an ice cream cake. Since i don't like cheesecake but this toblarone not so cheesy and i like the taste. Unable to order the durian cheesecake bcoz not a season. Fried rice no spicy but it served with sambal belacan that give the spicy flavour. For me the Burger price abit pricy maybe they used a homemade patty. Have alot Parking space at the compound. Service is fast and friendly n helpfull staffs.
Things for improvement : They should put notice at the waiting area to inform the new coming customer to write their name at the waiting table since the staff will call customer name based on the waiting list, instead of the new customer just seat at the bench to wait for their turn to dine in.

โ โ โ โ โ Food was ok, the drinks and desserts stood out more. Pandan cooler is refreshing and mango cheesecake is a classic. We sat outdoors so there were a few flies we had to chase away but other than that the ambience was nice and cooling. Seems like a good place for birthday celebrations as they will play a fun birthday song on their speakers.

โ โ โ โ โ before covid hits we usually were able to book a place but now we canโt. so itโs okay the queue was not a long wait. there were plenty of seatings inside. we usually get our dose of kula cakes because cake store closed up early. the barbecue menu has a min pac of 2 . the portion is big and alot . the nasi goreng daging is amazing. the staffs here are very attentive and friendly. easy to call and add orders. will definitely come back when we are in kuantan. oh also, the parking lot staff is the best! thankssss
