★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach on the island is incredible! The campsite is full of chill beached hippies! Disappointed with the campsite though. RM10 per person seems a bit high to camp within 20 cm of the next tent. It was too dense, which meant you hear everything...which wasn't very pleasant. It also meant not getting any ocean breeze from the tents being too close together.

Staying on a wild island like Kapas, with the best waters in all Malaysia.
It's cheap, basic, but very nice, right on a long white sandy beach with crystal clear waters, with a kitchen, bonfire at night and friendly staff.
Make sure to call them or whatsapp them time before coming to reserve your place, the number is on their website.

Cons - a lot of mosquitoes at night (must bring mosquito repellent), quite hot inside the tent (bring own USB fan).
Overall - perfect place for backpackers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is very good, but the bathroom and the kitchen are always dirty. The island is wonderful! Bring repellent, there are lots of mosquitoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to Kapas during a long Malaysian holiday weekend and the only available accommodation is the campsites. There were 2 next to each other and we chose Longsha. Paid RM30 for a night. A large tent that fits 2 adults and one child. Quite reasonable price for island standards. It's a really basic and minimalist lodging. Don't expect much and put high expectations.
The shower is open air concept so if you're not comfortable with showering next to a stranger, I suggest you shower late at night or before dawn when it's really dark and no one is around. When we were there, the night was lively as tents were fully occupied and people were just hanging out outside their tent and socialising with each other. It's something different than to stay at a resort where you hardly mingle with other people next door.
Electricity is available only during certain hours a day if you need to charge your electronic gadgets. The beach in front of the campsite is spotless. There's also a book section within the campsite where you can sit down and enjoy the view while reading a book.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The price is cheap and the staff is also friendly and very welcoming. They provide place for cooking which means you no need to bring your own stove and cooking appliances. You can use their own tent or bring your own. It will be much cheaper if you bring your own tent. Plus, for Muslim no need to worry as they provide place for us to perform the pray. The only thing that I dislike about this place is the 'open concept style' at the shower area. The rest is just perfect.

Very difficult to reach them so minus one star there. Not too responsive. Also look out for viscous mosquitoes
Pros:
One of the nicest campsites I have been to. Perfect view with very fine white sand, and the people on the island are just so nice and friendly. Campfires, hikes, snorkels worth the trip. Cutest cats around too.
It’s got an open air toilet and lots of stuff in the kitchen so when they say bring food only… yes bring food only haha

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4D3N at Longsha and i feels like wanted to extend more days if possible. Campsite is nice, under the shades of trees, enough hammocks for guest to lazy around. The communal kitchen is provided with all necesssary cooking utensils. The bathroom and toilet is just nice. This place and the islands is good for people who wants to escape from noisy city. Come and be part of the island.
