We love this place....lots of tasty traditional dim-sum choices and freshly make in the kitchen...unlike most shops, frozen or stocks from Jinjang suppliers( i ve been there).Although its a small shop but great service , its family run, ...very efficient and systematic. Not a fancy deco or ambience...BUT ITS AUTHENTIC FAMILY MADE DIM-SUM!..GIV IT A TRY

Traditional dim sum shop with mostly local. The portion of each dim sum is just nice. Price is reasonable.

Old fashioned dim sum restaurant in the heart of SS2. It's usually crowded in the weekends. U can find all ur usual dim sums here..like fish balls, har Gau, siew mai, pau, porridge and also lo mai kai. Have been opened for decades... Taste good...

I was craving for Lo Mai Kai and found google review mentioned their Lo Mai Kai is best so i decided to give it a try. However, itโ€™s disappointing, the Lo Mai Kai is kinda dry, taste so so, dim sum so so as well. Luckily, the Char Siew Bao is not bad.

A regular haunt for early risers to chat over Puer tea amidst the steaming dimsum baskets from 5am. Prices have shot to the roof, with Tai Bao and Har kau at RM5.50 and the humble Charsiew Bao RM2.80. And this is only kopitiam fare, offering diners to sit at tables on the five-foot way or dauntingly over the drain. Ingredients are low quality, sweet but less salty and the meat is suspect, perhaps a missing local feline. Tai Bao no longer offers half an egg based on the fragments of a forensic self examination on the plate. The foreign worker is cheerful even in the wee hours as she confidently takes orders with a splattering of Cantonese and Malay. With no competition nearby until 10am, one must console oneself that the early morning banter is as good as a trip to the cinema, given the limited surrounding options, as the retired elderly watch life passing by for a steep price. Certainly, your daily routine quickly transforms to a Sunday outing as the little daily pleasures become less affordable in this failed State of Selangor. Avoid during the frequent water cuts.

Ok, this is your old school Cantonese dim sum. Donโ€™t expect too quality ingredients used and donโ€™t compare it to those you find in some of the higher end Chinese restaurantโ€™s dim sum. If you want a taste of childhood memory of dim sum then this will be a place to visit. They have been around as long as I can remember. Food - as said, expect those old school, just ok quality dim sum. Service wise- definitely can be better. Variety is just ok. Donโ€™t expect much of the fancier dim sums too.
