★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the hotel across, we took a walk to Tesco during our trip to Alor Setar for lunch. Overall, this Tesco is like the rest in KL and Selangor. Shopping and a couple of eateries within, but nothing really lured us. Hence after walking around, we left feeling disappointed that we could solve our hunger pangs by tucking into food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strategic location . Plenty of parking space . Parking is free . There is one car cleaning business at the parking space , so you can leave your car here to be cleaned while shopping . A lot of eateries inside . Variety of shops inside . I have not seen much difference between Lotus , and the previous owner Tesco just yet ... the business model is still about the same . Lotus itself is on the upper floor , offering variety of groceries as usual ... Pricing wise , it is local pricing , not expensive . There is a very big main road at the entrance / exit , please be careful while entering and exit the premise . The traffic may not be heavy , but the road is very wide , it can be confusing to navigate .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is specifically for the food court, the nasi ayam shop. Maybe be nice to customers better next time. Speak nicely, as I truly don't know if you have small change or not. Don't have to sound annoyed, coz I'm sure as annoyed as you are. Tell customers nicely, try to be polite more because I still try to be polite to you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second visit to this place and first after the rebranding. Crowded as usual and today being public holiday so extra crowded. As for ex Tesco there seems to be some changes. Services etc are not changed much but the new colour scheme is light and vibrant, few other changes here and there but the overall experience is good.
As for the food court, the quality of food and honesty of the operators are questionable, hopefully food stall operators can be honest in their dealings and provide good quality food for the price they are charging.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing changing much from the tesco before. Is the price competitive? Not really. There are some items that you can find reasonable in other places. Variety product on shelves. Better to bring your own groceries bag because the plastic bag here is RM0.50. Parking is plenty.
