β β β β β @19/apr/2018 ws the first ever game for me @MahkotaGCC(MGCC) .. although it ws a bright noon, there was breeze in the air.
MahkotaGCC ws previously known as AstanaGCC, now run by Hotelier/Developer Zenith .. i believe now the place is livelier as there's housing developmen around MGCC.
The clubhouse is new, beautiful n clean.
Food@terrace is tasty and service is fast.
There's a beautiful driving range to warm-up n all.
The course itself if well n beautifully maintained. The fairway is overall of medium length for par 4's n 5's BUT one has to take out long irons/woods for most of the par 3's ..
Play conservatively avoiding the rough as it is of those crawling grass(it snags your clubs), not the usual 1st cut grass rough.
Buggy is 100% on track, bt it is ok as fairway is not that wide.
Scenery within the course is superb .. beautifully shape water elements ..
I did enjoy my game.

β β β β β A refurbished Astana Golf Club now known as Mahkota Golf Club. Course very nicely done with undulating greens. Rough can punish you if you are not careful as you could end up hitting below the ball. Breakfast very limited for weekdays and kitchen only starts at 11am or so. Food prices not bad but drinks prices were very high. Good quality for food and drinks though. Would have rated them 5βοΈs if the drinks were reasonably priced.

beautiful scenery.
But bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the changing rooms.

β β β β β My company went for Ramadhan iftar. The food was good but too bad for RM59/ pax we only got to eat 1 serving. They didn't top up the food. Even the drinks! The menu even not child friendly. Not much choices for kids. Not worth it at all.
