โ โ โ โ โ The last few months, it has been practically impossible to buy the parking coupons. After trying to buy at various outlets, I gave up. I assumed that Mpkk will let us road users know when the coupons were for sale again. Imagine my unhappiness to me given a compound ticket out of the blue due to no parking coupons.
When I went down to the council (the parking lot there have to pay parking fare - why?), I tried to explain the clerk at the counter. He did not even bother to look at me while I was trying to explain. Only after he gave me the summons bill did he look at me. I was polite and explained that for a long time the coupons were not available for sale and only recently they were available. He could not be bothered and his entire demeanour was I could care less. He said I had to go talk to his boss. I could see a run around.
I pay his and his bosses salaries via my tax.
Poor service, poor care and obviously a money hungry council who is more than willing to walk on people.
I wonder whether the colour of my skin and my religion were a factor. Would I have been differently if I was different?
