They only use fresh fishes! If no fresh fish, they will not open stall

β β β β β The place looks like a typical malay restaurant by the roadside. Was not expecting anything great as the food selection wasn't that much of a variety. They have gulai kari and we get to pick the fish. We weren't lucky coz they dint have much choice of fish on that day. Probably due to heavy rain season. We picked ikan tenggiri for gulai and ikan kembung for ikan goreng. And to our surprise, it tastes so good! It's so fresh and the ikan goreng was well fried that we dint spare any bones. And the price is so, so cheap compared to what we usually have in KL. We paid RM30 for 1 cut of gulai ikan tenggiri, 1 ikan kembung goreng, 2 plates of rice with ulam, 1 glass of orange juice. We're definitely gonna come back the next time we're on this island.

β β β β β Fresh local food! the owner looked a little surprised when we (outsiders) came in as the place was full with local. Price was reasonably cheap and food was delicious and fresh. Too bad we cannot order more ikan kembung goreng because they ran out of it. Totally recommended to come
