Replika Istana ini dibina semula berdasarkan catatan Sejarah Melayu yang menggambarkan keunikan seni bina Istana Melayu di zaman Sultan Mansur Shah yang memerintah dari tahun 1456 hingga 1477.
Secara keseluruhannya, muzium ini memperlihatkan fungsi dan peranan istana ketika itu dengan memaparkan Balairong Seri, Bilik Beradu Diraja dan balai-balai yang melambangkan ketamadunan masyarakat Melayu.

 Istana Kesultanan Melaka (replica Istana Kesultanan Melayu Melaka) is located on Bukit St. Paul. This replica of the Palace was rebuilt based on the records of Malay History which describe the uniqueness of the architecture of the Malay Palace in the time of Sultan Mansur Shah who ruled from 1456 to 1477.
Overall, this museum shows the function and role of the palace at that time by displaying Balairong Seri, the Royal Duel Room and the halls that symbolize the civilization of the Malay community.

β β β β β I have never dreamed of having the opportunity to visit the Istana Melaka all these years.. I was only able to see it from afar.
Alhamdulillah.. Managed to attend a meeting recently at the palace. The palace looks very beautiful and grand. The building architecture and design after renovation works was stunning.
