★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can confirm the coconut shake recommendation of Anna and want to add tom yam soup with rice, which also is very delicious. Lots of lemongrass and well spiced! Friendly staff and very good value / money. Also the restaurant offers a beautiful view in the evening to the mosque on the other island. Check out their laundry service, which is really good and paid per kg (not per item as some pricey hotels on the island will charge)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You really don’t expect much of this place, and it doesn’t look different from the others. But my god! The food is simply amazing! You have to try their coconut milkshake and kampung fried rice. The food is made fresh, with almost no artificial flavours. Though waiting time is a bit longer, it’s very much worth it. Breakfast was outstanding as well. There’s just something about this place that makes everything coming out of the kitchen to die for!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malay food is spot on and prices is like mainland, cheap and tasty. Don't go for Western as I ordered onions rings, huge proportion was served but it didn't taste that well. The presentation also very pretty
