★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entry is free. Since this is a mosque, a dress code is in place. If you’re not covered enough, the people at the counter in front will lend you (for free) something to help cover up. For people wearing shorts or women in skirts, there are full-length robes; for someone like me, a woman otherwise adequately clad but without a head covering, a hijab was supplied. Nearby is the place where you take off your shoes and leave them in a rack while you go inside the mosque. Not that non-Muslims can go all the way inside; the prayer hall, with its chandeliers and ornate décor, is off-limits for non-Muslims. Just outside, however, there are racks of free booklets (in a range of languages) on different aspects of Islam.
