I ate this akok since i was young until now the taste remain the same.. They still using traditional methods to cook it.. Get ready to queue when you want to buy it..

In normal day, do come before 3-4pm. In holidays, they finishes much earlier than that. Taste custard-like and the combination of smoky charcoal and palm sugar, superbly unique to Kelantan. This place particularly suits our palate. Not too sweet, 10 pieces for RM5, we finishes faster than we bought it.

Quite decent taste. However to me it’s still overrated. There are few more places offering better or at least at par in with less crowd ? Price wise it’s reasonable. Lining up is not and option hehe ?

Get your akok fix here. Famous among locals and tourists. Freshly prepared everyday. Traditional way using coconut fiber/ sabut kelapa. 2 pcs for rm1. Expect long q during weekeds/ public holidays. Shop is open from morning until sold out. Akok is soft & chewy. Bough 60 pieces to bring home. Suprisingly, it’s still hot after 5 hours. Kept in cooler bag.
