★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad maintaining, just some of the wood plank at walkway is broken. Friendly security guard and clean public toilet. Entrance fees is only Rm5 for local adult. Worth to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's just opposite of the Charcoal factory, worth visiting both places. Was attracted by the A shape chalets, so decided directly go to end of walking path as starting point. Senior is free of charge. Lots of mosquitoes must bring Insect repellant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this place suitable for nature lovers. They have campsite too but due to covid the place a bit unattended. The cafe and gift shop close. Im guessing the guide to explain the place in details only provided via large group or by appointment. They even have a few chalet in the premises.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really interesting place especially for nature lovers and bird watchers. About 25 minutes from Taiping definitely worth a visit if staying there or even passing along the nearby AH2 if you want a break. Very quiet even at weekends so good place to escape the crowds too.
I think 3rm for Malaysian adult plus 2rm for car (pretty unlikely you'd be walking there tbh) but 15rm for foreigner which is a big difference - more as a percentage than I've ever seen in years of living here. However, the boardwalk is well maintained at least currently and I hope the money goes back into the project so I didn't really mind. You can even hire chalets and stay If you want though obviously it's pretty basic and no food stalls or anything at the place itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really well maintained mangrove forest in Malaysia. The ticket is RM5/adult and parking fee RM2. The trail is refurbished and repainted so you can have some good photos. There are some chalets provided for those who want to have a stay in the forest. We can spot some birds and reptiles in the forest, but not monkeys.
There are some information guidelines across the trail when tourist reached to certain parts of the forest.
