★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That Taiping Tree is a iconic taiping place, its located behind Zoo Taiping. That tree itself is a mesmerizing to see. Plus its instagrammable too.
The parking here are free and lots of space to park (see photo)
There was a spot on monkey/Lutung too.
Other activities to do here are
- Renting a bicycle/tri-cycle with friend and families.
- Ride boat paddle with couple
Came here with my families and its a good place for morning walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taiping has once again done Perak and the nation proud when it emerged as the world’s third best city at the Sustainable Top 100 Destination Awards 2019 held at ITB Berlin, Germany yesterday.
The top spot in the Best of Cities category went to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, followed by Vancouver, Canada.
It was only two months ago that heritage city Taiping was listed in the world’s Top 100 Sustainable Destinations.
