Premise: Neat, clean. Quite cold though, some elderly were abit uncomfortable.

โ โ โ โ โ WASTE OF TIME! I opened an account online and got an email saying I could just show reference number from the email and get priority ticket. Next day, I go to this branch and find out they closed it to the public due to a covid case. They redirect me to other branch. I went to the bandar puteri branch. After filling out some forms and queueing, they told me they can't verify the account and I need to go back to this branch to verify the account. When I come back this branch, they told me they can't do it without an appointment. Nowhere in the website or email telling me I need to make an appoinment. Wasting my time for nothing.

โ โ โ โ โ According to Maybank staff, over the counter transactions can only be done if you have made an online appointment.
However, this particular branch does not show up in the dropdown list on their appointment site.
So they don't let you in when you want to walk-in, and they don't let you make an online appointment either.
What's the point of having a branch there, then?

โ โ โ โ โ Slow, unprofessional services. The front staff raised her voice at an elderly person for not making appointment. I made my appointment earlier, and I still have to wait for 40min just to get served. Staff are rude too. If you are planning to open a Maybank account, please avoid this God-forsaken branch.

โ โ โ โ โ Worse bank service ever. spend over one and a half hrs. here to settle minor account issue, end up I have to close all my account here and had to move to other branch. Just don't know why after all this years Maybank nvr improve their services like other bank.

Queue: Although already make booking still have to wait 20 mins ?
Service Counter: The lady who served me was very friendly and patience. But I didnโt know that 1 appointment can only for 1 account opening. The website didnโt specify. Luckily the lady allow me to open 2 accounts although I only have 1 appointment.
However it still took me 1hr 20mins to open 2 accounts. ? I feel that thereโs too much paperwork involved.
Overall Service: Is good ??
Speed: Still have much to improve
Feedback/Suggestions: The bank should improve their process and reduce the paperwork. Compare to my experience opening accounts in Singapore, the process is so much faster.
