Worst experience at Taman University Maybank on 8/9/2020 12:05-12:40pm at counter 14 ground floor. I went to open a current account for my business. The service was terrible and asked me to do everything on my own. I understand that We(customers) need to apply online first in order to open a current account. But I tried and I couldn’t do it at home so I approached to the Maybank branch near me. At the end they couldn’t help me to open too! I didn’t ask for loan or anything I just wanted to open an account and deposit money! What a terrible experience! Waste of time and energy!

20 jan 2021 when to maybank taman universiti at 10am for activate account and replacement card, i call for asking wether i need to queue because i have appoinment the operator scold me for asking and put off the phone so loudly. When i already enter the office, the malay lady at the counter 12 with the same voice was so angry because i came to her counter so fast because my number is not pegging yet. But my number really is 0001 which is she's also about to call. But then when i got to the counter and i said sorry she checked my form and asked me to go back to the front counter because i don't fill enough form which is i felt so weird because u work in the same system of course u can print the same form and asked me to fill up form very quickly to end the business quickly. Then i go back to the 1st counter and have to start all over again. The lady in the counter 12 is very annoyed me again when i finally had to go back to her counter and gave her the complete form she look at the form and order me to "sit already" as in malay "duduk ah" like how rude is that? As i'm your daughter. Then when the card is ready she arrogantly order me to go home as in malay "dah boleh balik" like what??? You can easily thanked me and said everything is done. They lady also didn't tell me to activate my card properly. Like i have to enter phone banking and tac etc.

Is it a bank or what. As a student I'm trying to open a savings account here in this branch, these rude staffs are like "why do you want to open a Savings account here instead you have CIMB in your university"..! Is this the way a employee from a competitive bank should respond? And she rejected my application stating that "I don't want to tell reason why I rejected your application ". So rude. Maybank officials, if you are reading this, this branch will be creating loss in future if they treat customers like this. Please rectify them. Thank you.

I could say that the most uneffecient bank I ever visited. Queue for nothing outside the bank for a very long time. I understand about the SOP, but other banks also have their SOP but still quite effective and fast. Outside waiting, went inside and waiting again. I have experienced going ti Maybank in other states, for example Penang. The Maybank there so much effective and very fast.

2 star because of the front desk lady was trying and coping on the busy days. She stayed calm and tried her best to help. As well the front guard for being patient and attempting to help as much as he could. Otherwise, I would give no star. The rest; Treated me arrogantly, like stupid people. As if I owe them something. Despite total 2 hours at the bank (in/out), went home and problem was still not solved. I know Im just a person. Anyways, Im planning to close my account and move to CIMB. Also to the customers; Please come prepared. I made an appointment to come to the bank (COVID times), but some/ most people in front of the bank tried to negotiate/ haggle their way without any appointment, and they managed (what the?!!). I understand for the elderly people, but most were young and I expect they can do the online appointment rather easily. We expected high class treatment but we ourselves have low class mentality.

Friday, 25/3/2022, 9:30am, The male customer service gave the worst treatment to the customer by displaying a bad attitude, yelling, forcing them to hurry without respect and a hateful face and voice. Maybank does not need such staff. Shame on you!
