β β β β β Expansive charges. He charges my windscreen RM 950 (the cheapest price, initially 1k) where I can get less than RM600 somewhere else with just 1.5 hour waiting period.

β β β β β A few years ago, I bought a second hand CRV that had a few chips and bulls eye damages on the windscreen. I got it fix by Mecahnix Windscreen Services. Very happy with the work and you can tell this man is a perfectionist. I had another bulls eye recently and got it fixed at one of Dr Cermin's outlet and is very very disappointed. So if you are shopping for a place to fix damages on your windscreen, look no further, Mechanix Windscreen Services is the place.
[Added the following on 6th July 2020]
Took my wife's car there yesterday. Still the same owner. Still the same meticulous attention to detail. Even straighten the road tax sticker that was slightly tilted! :D I would still recommend this place for all your windscreen repair work.

He would lay out all possible options (along with the price rates, no hidden charges, we paid what was agreed) for us to consider. On top of that, he does his job right, he fixes one car at a time, took his time to upkeep his work quality.

β β β β β My windscreen was cracked more than a year ago and it kept spreading. Went to other shops and they quoted me a high amount and said that they can settle it with the insurance company.
Went to this shop and the young owner came walking a few minutes later. His housing area is just behind the shop lots. Explained to me that the crack cannot be fixed due to it being too long (that's my bad). Provided me with the options and quoted the price.
Sent it in the morning few days later after the new windscreen arrived, he sent me back home and got back the car on the same day.

β β β β β Had a windscreen half-moon crack from a rogue rock on the highway. Mr. Danny (I presume he is the owner of the shop) fixed it to near perfection within 45 minutes, with the price agreed upfront. No hidden costs, no trust issues and extremely good skills. He is also very pleasant to deal with and responsive to calls. Will definitely come back here again for any windscreen needs. He also did not ask me to leave any good reviews for him (which I presume some competitors tend to do), am doing this on my own accord based on the good experience I had.

β β β β β Had a stone chip to my windscreen while travelling on the highway.. end up with a star crack.. found this shop on Google.. great service.. agreed on price before he starts fixing it.. I paid RM180 for the repair but it's well worth it for the professional workmanship.. these are the before and after pics
