*upgrading my 3 year-old review to 5 star, since it has gotten so mich better* This is a big local restaurant which serves nasi campur, mee rebus, nasi ayam, etc. Their specialty mee rebus is a local flavor, malay influence. Light broth, flavorful, balanced. Worth the exit from hiway, compared to deteriorating quality of tapah R&R on both sides

Quite pricey when mee rebus daging & mee rebus tulang is same price even though daging portion in mee rebus daging was quite small. However the taste is not bad.

The main menu of this restaurant are curry mee, mee rebus/ boiled noodle, chicken rice and a few more menus. The taste is accepted not spicy at all. Foreigner or people who do not stand spicy can eat this happily??

We had the famous "Tapah mee rebus" for lunch after driving down from Cameron Highlands. Taste-wise it was good, price-wise it was better! But the service was a little slow for we saw that the waiter was also the cook! The eatery was located just by the road leading to Tapah town and only about 300m from the highway exit. Good stopover from those who just came down from Cameron Highlands via Tapah. Taste the delicious Mee Rebus while shaking off the dizziness from the ride!

This restaurant is quite similar to many roadside restaurants here in Malaysia. The restaurant itself and its amenities are quite clean. The mee rebus is okay I guessed, as I've tasted better before. I ordered the Mee Rebus Tulang but the 'tulang' was just one piece of big ol' bone with a bit of meat, not enough to satisfy you for the price of RM10. But, maybe I was the unlucky one, because they did say that the beef bones are running low and they have to make 4 portions with what remained in their stock. Their chicken rice was below par as the rice was quite dry and almost tasteless, the other elements of the chicken rice was acceptable enough, but, they certainly can improve thier chicken rice. I'm giving this restaurant a 3 star because of the hype not meeting my expectations.
