Ordered the salted egg soft shell crab which tasted great but the portion was a bit smaller to my liking. The beef stroganoff which my gf ordered tasted great.
The butterfly pea lemon drink I got left a strange after taste in my mouth. A bit like tap water. The mango berry drink that my gf got tasted great tho

β β β β β I've been here several times. It's relatively nearby and has a nice, cosy atmosphere but I think that the food here tastes average.
The lamb pie was average. The pie was nice but not the lamb rack, which was somewhat chewy.
The baked crumbly chicken (which they said resembled cordon bleu) was plated really well but was actually quite tasteless. However, the meat portion was generous (and solid) but the creamy sauce that came with it was somewhat bland.
The barbecue chicken was plated nicely and was large in portion as well. Taste-wise, it wasn't bad.
New on the menu was creamy vichysoisse (traditionally, cold potato soup) with mushroom dumpling. It was my first time to try a vichysoisse and I was piqued by what it would taste like.
The mushroom filling was honestly quite tasty, because it had a somewhat savoury bite to it, but the skin was too thick and tasted like flour. The warm soup itself was bland and less creamy than I'd have liked. I would have preferred to try the traditional cold soup but I understand Asians like their soups warm so that's okay.
The onde cake was quite nice and not overly sweet, if you like cream and coconut gratings. The burnt cheese cake was average.
Overall, I've eaten at this place a few times. Nice atmosphere for get-togethers with family but I've definitely tasted better food. If I recall right, the local food in the menu was good but not the Western ones. Still, it's a decent cafe nearby so once in a long, long time, we do drop by.

β β β β β found this hidden place on google maps and decided to give it a try as the review rating is on good side. price is slightly higher but the environment is nice. love the nachos. BBQ chicken large in portion sampai i tapau half of the chicken. quite many diners even on weekday dinner time.

β β β β β Was there with family (parents, small kids and baby), the meals and service were great.
The only downside was there's one table who's sitting outdoor started lighting up cigarettes. I don't know if they are allowed to light up but we who were sitting indoor, next to the door, suddenly become 2nd hand smoker. Let alone those who were sitting near them.
"No smoking" sign should be displayed prominently and clearly. I saw one at the main entrance. No special privilege should be given that outlaw the regulations.
