For me this restaurant quite unique. Has been long time didnt see restaurant that open by chinese still have malay come and order the food. My father told me 30 year ago malaysia is like this, but now very hard to see.

โ โ โ โ โ I actually came here for the cheesy toast. Hear a lot about it from local friends. It was definitely unique. They oven toasted the cheese on a loaf of bread and sprinkled a bit of sugar on top of the toast. It taste really good. Very traditional way of doing toast. They also have a runny half boiled egg on toast. Super delicious. The kopi-o served here was very rich. Definitely will give you a kick after a sip. I also managed to try their nasi lemak bungkus here. Chilli will give you a wake up call!! spicy and a bit sweet. Tasted fantastic and it will give you a blast from the past! LOL!! I also discovered they sold beef noodle here. I see a lot of customers doing take away for the beef noodle. I guess it must be good. I decided to try my luck on the beef noodle and it was really good. The clear broth was nice and just right with the beef noodle. I was here for breakfast so there was a bit of a crowd here. I came on a weekend so there were seats on the outer corridors as well. Ended up eating too much here so I didn't get a chance to try others

โ โ โ โ โ Possibly one of the best beef soup noodle i have ever had in a while. The clear soup didn't have the usual meaty scent, but is packed with flavour as they boil the bones n parts for days before. The beef meat was succulent, tender and melts in your mouth. The tendons were soft and easily chewed (similar to coral seaweed when u bite into them). All in all, the overall taste and presentation left me with happy memories. Can't wait to come back again!

โ โ โ โ โ This are one of the tiga sekawan kopitiam in Bagan, Sin Bee Chiew, Luan Fung and this Meng Chai. Popular eateries for breakfast and lunch.
The beef soup koayteow is nice. Beef is tender. The soup is the clear type, tasty. I visited around 2pm, luckily have a few seats available. They are also popular for their roti bakar.
Parking is easily available. After your heavy meal, you can also visit the Butterworth Art Walk just located around the corner.
