friendly family run business here, need to get to the back of seats, behind the door for ordering. Assam fish cooked differently from KL style, here's more light, cooked with tamarind I guess, personally love the sourness!! average RM 130 for these items, with a vegetables and ho jian(fried egg with oyster) close on Monday! or visit their FB for details.

Sotong (very thinly sliced) and prawns (mostly just prawn heads) cost RM 75. Have been eating here for many years but no more. Wanna ketuk also agak agak pls. Ladyboss acted like ppl owe her money. Boss is still ok but not sure what is wrong with her.

One of the most authentic Asam fish place in Muar. Delicious, price is reasonable

So much hype about this place serving the best Assam Fish, i decided to try it myself. 1. Assam fish is so-so only. Quality of the dish has dropped. Always wondered why no onions or ladies fingers are added to it. 2. The fried oyster omelette is oily and tastes bland 3. Sotong / prawn with petai - you have prawn head more than prawns and need to dig pass the black sambal to uncover the small petai(which is halfed and cut). 4. The fried flatfish, sorry, to me is just ordinary. Thanks for the visit but wont be going back there anytime.

Found this place on Google and I’m falling in love with this place. The Assam fish is not the spiciest. But the fish is fresh and the taste is good enough to drink it as a soup. The other fried sotong and oyster egg were just fantastic. Must order their otah. It’s the smoothest and not overly spicy. You can taste the chunks of fresh fish meat inside. Also, the service was great!! Will definitely visit this place again!!
