★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small, unassuming restaurant that might be easy to miss if you don't know where it is. Having never had Nepalese food before I was quite surprised how delicious the food here was, especially for such a low price! Be careful though, the food could be pretty spicy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After we discovered this place we went there once a day. We tried 4 different dishes and we liked all of them. We had momo, wai wai chatpatee, Chhoila, Khana plate and the Lassi drink. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. I recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found a lot of people a bit hostile towards tourists in Malaysia but I can say this is the one place where I felt safe and comfortable. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming and let us sit down and wait for a takeaway in the air-conditioning area. He didn’t feel racist at all and he felt very kind and open which was honestly one of the only places I had this experience in Malaysia. The food was absolutely amazing quality and tasted just like it does on the indian/nepalese border. At first it was a bit hard to find this place as it’s up a flight of stairs. Thank you to the kind man who owns this restaurant and I really recommend the delicious food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chicken momos were well-seasoned, must be paired with the sauce to make it a complete dish. I would have preferred if the wrap was thinner though. Also order choila which is boiled and barbecued buffalo meat, I love the seasoning loaded with chilli and garlic but the meat itself was much too hard to chew which was a shame.

The food is mind blowing! Steam momo’s is the best. A very simple restaurant but the main guy Shyam is welcoming and serves food with a big smile on his face. Best momo’s in Malaysia for sure.
They have fried momo’s, churmuri, chicken/veg thali. I feel like home when I visit Mero Nepal ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying Nepalese food so can't comment on its quality and authenticity so will give my opinion as a virgin taster of Nepalese food.
The special 2 type rice dish was.. interesting; all I could think of was it being kelloggs rice krispies with some diced cold vegetables (tomatoes, parsley, chili).
The chicken momo (dumplings) was pretty bland when you compare it to other asian dumplings like from china or Korea. Was strange to pair it with some dhal, but I guess it's not surprising as Nepal is between china and India and would have influence from both sides.
One thing is when the bill came, price for each dish was rm1 higher than what was listed in the menu, which they should have informed prior or update their menu soon. But no biggie as it's just rm1 per item.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Nepalese curry set here was absolutely delicious, and the momo and sauce were well cooked and very complimentary. Also, the lassi was perfect on a hot day, and the masala tea wasn't too sweet and hit the spot.
However, what made this nook of a shop so wonderful was the lovely and warm staff. The waitstaff that served us was named Pradip. They accommodated our needs for chopsticks and extra plates, and patiently explained some of the dishes to us, and made recommendations accordingly.
If I am ever back in KL, I will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
