The surrounding is very nice and the books are rare to be searched in public book store. If you are book lover, this is a great place to explore.

It's an interesting place. Selling variety of books that you won't see in typical bookstores and unique handicraft by local artists. The coffee is great too!

Nice and quiet place to read a book. Cosy but needs an upgrade, furniture are old and squeaky. I would give a higher rating if there are some books that we can read while sipping our coffee

Located on the 1st floor of a shared building is this little gem. Shoes off! Moontree House is a safe haven for members of the LGBTQ community, bookworms and people who just want a quiet place to relax and enjoy a a great cup of coffee. The proprietor has the demeanour of a librarian but the talent of a top barista which you'll find out from taking your first sip of coffee. Prices for coffee range from 12RM to 15RM for one cup or 30RM to 36RM for a pot (3 cups). Go upstairs, take your shoes off, pop your head in and enjoy a great cup of coffee as you peruse through the selection of books.

An interesting bookstore concept amidst the busy-ness of KL. Time slows down once you step into this quiet and serene space. If you're looking for a hushed cafe with soothing music and nice coffee, be sure to time travel in!

Story goes they used to sell good cakes here but I was only able to try their cookies. The cookies however, were home made (by someone else) and they left a nice lingering taste four hours after I last consumed them. Note that this is a chinese bookstore first and foremost (on topics not many can accept like feminism and LGBT rights and acceptance) and not a cafe selling books.

Very quite place, suitable for reading and working alone. There are very less people there even during weekends. LGBTQ themed ?

Quiet place, very outstanding coffee and cake with lots of Chinese books (not for free, of course). LGBT themed, so probably not for some of the people out there. I'll be back to this place for sure. Quietness is a big plus.
