★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the cheaper massages in the area as compared to those in Mid Valley Southkey. The masseuses are mainly from Vietnam, and they do an adequate enough job.
However I think the owner of the massage place does not provide the correct equipment or training in performing guasha for the girls - the girl who did guasha on me used a COIN to perform the scraping ... an outdated and unhygienic equipment.
Granted, coins were used to perform guasha especially in remote villages, but please, coins are filthy and have been everywhere (even if you washed them, germs may still be in the grooves of the coin!) When I questioned the girl, she didn’t understand Mandarin or English or using an ox horn blade or some other equivalent (there ARE plastic guasha blades) that won’t run the risk of accidentally breaking skin, and introducing germs.
To the owner of this establishment : you have a decent enough massage parlour ... don’t ruin your reputation by not providing proper equipment for the girls to use.
Also ... I’d be wary of letting people sleep in the front of your shop for potential customers to see - there is an Indian young man snoring loudly on the sofa which is in FULL VIEW of passersby - not a welcoming sight , even if he was a customer (which I seriously don’t think so as he was there to unlock the front door to let us in before our massage at 11.30am, and it’s 1.30pm now ( he has been snoring since I came out of my massage at 1.15pm)
4pm - have since discovered Sleeping Beauty is an employee who had to come in early ... and they only told us that The special for this time is that for massages lasting longer than 1.5 hours, they throw in an ear-candling or a guasha for free. And that they DO have proper guasha blades, but the Vietnamese are uncomfortable using those, and prefer using coins instead. So my 1.5 hours cost only RM 108, with the guasha thrown in for free.
