A novelty place rather than a serious Japanese restaurant if you ask me. The external facade seems like a non-described comic book store with only a small placade indicating the name Muarii. Could have missed it entirely to be honest. The real novelty is that the guy with the walkie talkie at the 'reception' will usher you into a short corridor with a book case on one wall. Shhh....this is the secret entrance to the restaurant. OK..enough of the novelty stuff. How's the quality of the food? ....not that fantastic really, so so at best. They should decide whether they want to be a Japanese restaurant or a western one. Not succeeding as a fusion place. Safe to say this is not a Tetsuya wannabe. Service and kitchen crew were staffed by young people, while I would give them a pat for their friendly effort, but I think much much more improvements are need. Not sure if it me but I'm pretty sure sashimi would be the first dish to be served with the small plates of appetizers. I had my mains served in super fast timing but the sashimi would be the last dish serviced after I had literally finished my bowl of donburi. The sashimi needed to be tawed a bit more, while the grilled squid tasted overdone n rubbery (probably prepared in advanced n dumped on the grilled for a quick toasting). The other dishes were OK. 3.5 stars for the effort.

3.5 star for the food, nothing to shout about. Interesting entrance tho, you will miss it if you do not pay attention.

A rather good Japanese restaurant nested within the holiday Villa. Sashimi is fantastic and so does the yellow fin fish collar. If they have the fresh wasabi and better desert choices, I'll give a five stars. Is a bit pricey and I will expect to get more value.

Wow wow wow! What a surprise! So glad i decided to try out this place. Fusion done well! Food tastes great and quality is definitely there! Price wise maybe just a few ringgit higher than other Jap restaurants in JB. But top up a few ringgit and get 10x better quality food. Give this place a go and share it with your friends! Location is so hidden i am so worried they cant sustain omg.

You can feel the freshness of the seafood, a bit expensive but worth the taste.. Overall satisfied and worth to repeat.. Suitable for private gathering.. Parking a bit difficult..

Quite an extensive menu of Japanese and western food. Food not bad. Like the entrance to the restaurant whereby the door is part of the comic book shelf. Good and fast service. Presentation of food served is nice. Pity no dessert except for the ice cream mochi which is under the appetiser section. Pork is not served here. Not crowded too during my visit

Just within a walking distance from KSL is this Japanese restaurant at Holiday Villa. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food - started off with this rainbow roll with fruits, salmon and I think it was fried soft shell crab. Seldom can you find non- soggy fried soft shells in the roll and the warmth was still there - really good. Highly recommend this. Ordered a 4 type sashimi - it was okay though I’d prefer for them to be less frozen and in thinner slices. Got two fried rice dishes - (1) garlic rice in squid & (2) salmon miso fried rice. Both were really up my alley! Got the mentaiko cod fish and although the cod fresh was very fresh and nicely grilled, thought the mentai sauce didn’t really gel well with the fish. teriyaki and shio was also available for choice - i would recommend going for shio if you’re intending to order the cod. Overall a very nice surprise and satisfying meal. Might be seen as expensive in Malaysian standards but still affordable.
