Amazing! This is one of the muzeum in NS that has stored and exhibited artifacts and materials pertaining to the Adat Papatih which originates from Pagar Ruyung in Sumatra. Another such muzeum, albeits a little smaller would be the Melewar muzeum in Astana Raja. Syabas to those that constructed and maintained these institutions.

Good things, this museum open 7 days a week, from 9 am to 5 pm & no charge imposed for the entry. But during my visit about a month ago, there are many sections of the building were having electrical power problems. The security guard there told us that the problem has been lasting for weeks. So we were visiting there in dark & hot (in some places) due to no lights & airconds... Anyway still a place to visit.

Educational and interesting tour to know about cultures in Malaysia. Need some time to browse and read through ...However the audio equipment for the explanations of exhibits does not work. Wonder if any of them really do work or switched off. Lighting should be slightly brighter though...the gloomy atmosphere was quite spooky if you are visiting alone Information counter staff were friendly

Free entrance. The museum has 3 levels of exhibition with each level has its own theme e.g. level 1 is on traditions of *all* races in Malaysia whilst level 3 has about traditions of Negeri Sembilan. Has elevator lift so it's OKU-friendly. There are exhibitions with no lights and audio tracks that are probably under maintenance (can't be played). Overall, interesting info but can be improvised in terms its presentation. We spent about 45 mins here.

A nice place with sufficient informations, I must say, but instead of trying to cramp up a lot of races in one tiny building, the authority should just focus on Negeri Sembilan's own cultures entirely. There's 4 storeys in the building, and they probably make use of the small areas more efficiently. Other than that, it's good.

A giant traditional Malay headgear replica atop the main entrance welcomes visitors to Muzium Adat (Custom Museum). Three exhibition floors devoted to customs and culture of every ethnic group in Malaysia ??. The building is well maintained, clean with elevator for easy access. Overall, a very informative, educational and interesting tour with a difference.
