★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It took sometime for me to post this. It would be a long review if I wanna write details about it. So to make it short, Gunung Berembun is next to Gunung Telapak Buruk and vice versa. My advice is, if you wanna hiking for one day trip yes you can but start it from Gunung Telapak Buruk. Park your car at the foothills of Gunung Berembun and ask somebody to send you at Gunung Telapak Buruk. Much easier. Prepare extra food and water. Mentally and physically challenged. As the journey will took one whole day unless you want to spend one nite camping here. If you start at 6.30 am probably you will finish it by 4.30 or 5.30 pm depends on your capability. And that was mine. ?. Along the way you will find the location of the plane crash. The route is quite challenging as the trail is steep from Gua Kambing to Gunung Berembun summit's (starting point from Loji Penapisan Air Gunung Berembun). But if you don't want to spend long hours in the jungle you may start hiking at the entrance of Gunung Berembun and return to where have you started. That's all I can say. Good luck!
P/s: if your entrance from the foot hill of (where the Loji Penapisan Air located) G. Berembun you have to pay rm5 to the renger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The river is awesome. River is just less than hundred metres from where we parked our car. There are some rubbish left by visitors which is disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to hike. Need good shoes but don't bother if the trail conditions are wet. Some water crossings and parts are steep for a little bit and will be slippery if it has rained. Photo is of a spot that shows as bad as it gets. Fine for adults, maybe or maybe not for kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tough. Not suitable for beginners. Doing Reverse Berembun Telapak Buruk. Almost 10hours to return to starting point. Just go recently. Counter Permits open at 8.30am. Please come early due to limited parking area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to hike and not a beginner course. It takes about 11hr for normal hiking speed.
Do prepare enough food and drinks.
Raincoat and torch light is a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just 30min trekking to reach from starting point. Nice spot for natural sound & feel. Have a spot for small camp or hanging your hammock while having a coffee or instant noodle.

Cooling Waterfall to freshen up b4 last hike out from here.
Suitable for camping or picnic gathering but pls pick up ur own trash afterwards. Don't b lazy.
As for hiking, not suitable for beginners if you plan to visit WW2 bomber site.
