โ โ โ โ โ RM2 entrance for adults to this neat and well kept museum. Informative, giving some insights into the tin mining industry in the area. I wish there were more stories from the miners living during that time, and more information on the dangers of the mines and working conditions of the miners, to help us understand and appreciate what they went through.
Note that the mining tunnel (about 1km away) is still not open and hasn't been for a while. Rumour has it that it will be reopened soon. I feel a big part of the experience is missing without the tunnel.

โ โ โ โ โ A place rich in history of the world's deepest shaft mine for tin, the town itself is frozen in time, the muzium stocks items and history of the town, housed in the dwelling of the mine manager, including the original items used by the family, we need to support places like this and support all efforts to preserve every the history of place

โ โ โ โ โ Love the museum. This is our second time here in 4 years. The place is well kept, toilet clean. A lot of info, mining items & old photos displayed. Wish the state government would do something to bring back life & beautify this historical town. Maybe they can get some ideas from Arrowtown, New Zealand. Sad El Dorado is temporary closed though. Hope they open soon. I enjoyed the short train ride into the mine.

โ โ โ โ โ Not a bad museum. Bit sparse on information but has enough to keep you interested for a bit. I would have liked to see some audio visual content talking with miners who had worked the mines and more about the decline.
