★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. My wife had a traumatic experience when she underwent tooth extraction procedure at Mydentist Ampang and the procedure was initially performed by Dr Aishah Afifah. As a result, my wife had suffered from emotional distress especially anxiety & nervousness and currently in the process of restoring her emotional stability through support from family & friends
2. As a non practioner, I have no right to argue on Dr Aishah Afifah's approach; however it is clear enough at least to me that she was incapable of deciding whether the risk is ALARP when she continued with the procedure despite potential complication and with the absence of specialist on that very day.
3. Dr Aishah's unlogical proposed solution i.e "I'm referring you to specialist tomorrow at 7.30pm (suggesting my wife had to bear the excruciating pain for another 30++hrs as she already had her tooth partially extracted)" & her unprofessional comments & sighs on the complexity of the issue while performing the procedure had further exacerbated the situation. We noted on her effort to find the solutions after we discussed about it, but I wish she could have handled the situation better from the get-go
4. We finally found the light when Dr Abu Razali was willing to take over the issue (on his off day and was attending a seminar) that afternoon and he had professionally & superbly handled the problem from technical, emotional, & customer-centric aspects; that alone deserves 5-star rating from us ???. Soft spoken, analytical, & a smart doctor. Tq Dr Abu Razali & Team for the magnificient job ???
5. We have decided not to perform any treatments and procedures alike wt Dr Aishah Afifah in the future and hopefully my feedback would trigger Dr Aishah to lift her game up instead of taking it as a delusional-negative-comment from a customer and being defensive. The way I see it, Dr Aishah & Mydentist Ampang owe us an official apology for this incident.

This new clinic is superb, doctors and staffs are friendly and helpful, most important this clinic is using hi-tech equipment and new technology in dentistry. I luv this new clinic, simple interior, calm environment and easy on eyes decor.
