Why never accept TnG eWallet. It's better to give option for cashless payment method during pandemic.

Very poor hygiene.Ordered nasi lemak and it came with a small cockroach inside the pandan rice. Luckily I spotted before start eating. The worker just said sorry and removed the bill. Will be never coming back here again. Cleanliness and hygiene should be the top priority for any eateries.

Newish place that replaces the old Papparich that used to be here. Has a pretty broad selection of food on their menu and a big variety of kopitiam-type drinks. Had their kaya butter toast, curry chee cheong fun, nasi lemak with fried chicken and drinks: charcoal kopi, Hainanese tea, and sea salt Hainanese tea. Toast was ok - pretty standard and typical. Chee cheong fun portion came out with much larger than expected but wasn't great - plain and nothing but the noodles and curry. I suspect that they're using kuey teow noodles because the chee cheong fun isn't soft at all and looked exactly like kuey teow strips - would not recommend it. Nasi lemak portions were huge too especially the fried chicken piece - was humongous. Char kuey teow has the 'wok hei', and comes with some prawns and lap cheong sausages, and Ipoh-style taugeh - no siham/cockles for those who are expecting it. Decent place for a bite, can get somewhat busy for the lunch crowd, service is pretty fast and place is clean and airy. They also have seating spaces upstairs but from my experience you get better service sitting downstairs.

A newly opened restaurant that replaced the Paparich. I came on a public holiday morning for brunch after morning exercise, to my surprise the restaurant was crowded. More people came during lunch hour with some queue at the entrance. I ordered a nasi lemak, roti bakar and cham ice. Nasi lemak tastes authentic except the sambal that was sour taste, roti bakar was over toast, yet cham ice was strong taste.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon around 1.30pm and got seated immediately. Ordered their Curry Mee with chicken and tried also their Watanhor. Curry Mee was flavorful, decent and not too oily. Watanhor had very good wok hei! Preferred the Charcoal coffee over the salted Hainan tea. But both were very tasty ? Will return when I'm craving for kopitiam food.
