1st time tried this famous local Nyonya restaurant and we ate fried sotong which looks simple but it's very flavorful... Must try it. The assam fish is fresh and just nice the spiciness, not too power to kill the assam taste. The Curry chicken is Nyonya style something you can't get to taste if the Chef is not Nyonya.. good for something different. Chicken is soft and nicely cooked. Otak otak is not too bad. I preferred those with more fish meats.... The ones here is like those Muar type.. hard. Overall great food. Will come again.

The queue is long.. min half hour during meal time. Guess it's already the shortest?.. Do write ur name b4 queuing as that's how it works. Per portion r relatively reasonable for 2pax, however, prawns r small size. To me, its just another Peranakan restaurant. Except for the Pie Tee that is worth mentioning? Frankly, dunno where the hype come from?. #msgreedysis #greedybuddiez

An average to above average Nyonya restaurant. Come early if you want to avoid waiting. By 12 there was a line out the door for lunch. The staff was attentive but the food was only okay. Not everything was good. I'd recommend the chicken pongteh that was excellent. The rest of the food was only okay and the steamed fish was not fresh.

Used to frequent Nancy's Kitchen way back when it was operating in an old shoplot just round the corner from Jonker Walk. This is the first time I am dining in at their restaurant outlet which is driving distance from Jonker Walk. Glad to note the food quality and taste is still consistent despite not visiting this place for more than 3 years. Was surprised the place is full, eventhough I arrived at around 5.30pm and had to wait outside for a table. Overall, I am happy with the taste of their Nyonya Laksa, Jackfruit curry (yums!). Otak Otak and interesting blue pea flower with sour plum juice (must try!) Will definitely come back for more!

To be honest quality of food here have dropped so much , they were stingy on the Petai prawn , Petai was chopped to pieces and prawn so small and not fresh , same goes to the pineapple prawns , it tasted better at the jonker area then . Mustard duck soup tasted awful ? we spoke to the boss , boss said it was cooked today so the flavors is not there and it take 2 days for the flavors to come out and “ why did you serve us then when it’s not ready “ everything was small in portion . Not nice honestly .. no more coming here ..

We are Malaccan, we tried their food since they are still in Jonker street area, but somehow it’s very hard to queue or making a reservation when it’s open to tourist (before COVID) so we came here very early today, we walked in and we got our seats quite easily. We Ordered few things very uniquely available to the Peranakan community. First is the Cincalok Ulam(pickled little shrimp), and then the Jantung Pisang ( Heart of Banana). We also ordered Ayam Buah Keluak (Pangium / Buah Kepayang), I heard my mom said if you can order pork meat it’s even tastier and this applies to also Pongteh(Fermented Beans Pork). And last is chicken rendang. Overall the taste of the foods were great, however the food portion shrieked in size, I suppose this is normal if you don’t increase your price, you decrease your size portion. The chicken rendang is rather disappointing we thought it should come with more spices but it lacks or spice anyhow. This shop is equipped with credit card payment options, only Amex is not accepted. VISA and Master all boleh. Maybe because the food portion is small I think the value for money criteria was not 100%. But if you are new to these dishes, and just want to try, they are one of the finest in Melaka. Overall the damage for three person ordering these foods is about RM104. Not too expensive nor cheap.

I used to frequent this joint when it was off jonker st. It has since moved to a bigger and nicer premises. First time trying it here. Expect to wait long if you are not early. Only a couple of dishes stood out. Ngoh hiang had a smooth texture and nicely spiced. Soup was interesting. Not the best I’ve had but still very good. Beef rendang was too tough. That’s a bummer. Buah Ayam keluah was not bad. But didn’t impress. Crispy squid was alright. Not the best. But this is not Nonya food. Nice overall but not impressed. But this is supposed to be one of the best so it’s still worth going to compared to many other Nonya restaurants.
