★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice taste of the Butter Kaya Bread! (traditional taste make my day goes well) i love the 'hainam mee' as well, because of this mee, I visit here almost 4times with same mee already~ chicken taste good...but a bit cold already...chicken maybe taste good if it is hot ya..

Full mark is 5 stars
1. Coffee - 3 stars
2. Pumpkin Chee Cheong Fan - 2 stars
It is pumpkin cake + Chee Cheong Fan, I actually thought that CCF is make by the pumpkin (sorry, my bad, I has too much imagination). The pumpkin cake is ok. But the CCF, it likes a dry kuey teow, I am not sure it is the Melaka style.
3. Roti Bakar - 3 stars
The butter and kaya is good but the roti bakar is served, it is totally cool, maybe too many people.
4. Otak otak Roti - 4 stars
This can be ordered, quite nice.
The waitress was curious to us because we didn't order the main course like nasi lemak. "You don't order nasi lemak?". So....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad service, the staff is rude, he is the 1 that bring our order, when its wrong, he put the blame on the customer saying we did not inform. How the hell we know wat ure saying where u just mumbled planta bread, put it and go. We even do not have time to inform u its butter not planta. We only know we ordered toast bread. U giving us planta or butter doesnt make a huge different ok. Own self confused then wanna blame customer. Do not go even at 12pm, (close at 2pm) yet everything finish oredi. Having lunch wit only bread choices is not pleasant. Better go other kopitiam nearby. More choices + better service. Nasi lemak was dry, sambal is not fragant. The ice lemon tea tasted like water. Blant and not worth to visit. Lousy!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came on a weekend morning and the place was packed, had to wait for table. They have quite an extensive menu but servers informed that many of the alacarte fried menu weren’t available as they had insufficient workers so we only were able to try the nasi lemak and toast. Overall the coffee was a tad too sweet for my liking. The nasi lemak was fragrant and fluffy, toast were fine. Won’t be coming again on weekend though. Hope they hire more staff to be able to provide a better prompt service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have made known to this place by relatives. Went there on Monday morning where it was not so crowded. Ordered the signature charcoal grilled hainan kaya butter toast and hainan coffee. Also tried the nasi lemak and kueh available. Overall food not bad. Staffs are friendly and responding fast too. Perhaps otah bun can have more otah inside.
