โ โ โ โ โ One of the few must try stalls if you are in the area. Been around for a long time and quality hasn't dropped much I think, but the price has of course. More popular pieces/cuts sell out early on weekends and public holidays. Probably the best chicken rice at night and maybe even the day, in the SS 2 area. Can't rate higher (partially) because of the location. Check out my other review of this area for more, and suggestion on what else to eat here.

The truly HaiNan chicken rice indeed. The very essence of chicken rice has been outperformed by the stall, please try it out if u passed by this area!!!

โ โ โ โ โ One of the very few, if not the only halal hainan chicken rice stall which opens at night (not including malls ofc). Located at the SS2 halal food court, on the inside corner on the right. Theyโre fairly attentive when ordering and you just tell them where your table is. Service is fast.
Love their chicken rice, rice is fluffy and tasty, chicken is steamed just right and the chili and soy sauce condiment pair well. The taugeh portion is enough for two (if added). Been frequenting here for the past few years and they maintain the taste and quality. They have hor fun and porridge too, served with their chicken.
Since itโs a food court there are other food selections so you and/or company arenโt limited by choice. Only issues are if it rains or difficult to find parking.

This roadside food court in SS2 is Medan Selera MBPJ and it's a halal serving food court.
This time around, highlighting this late evening till night time chicken rice stall. Not many places where one can get chicken rice at night. This is among the few rare places that offers this dish.
They only serve steamed chicken, those fans of fried ones, you won't get it here.
The rice is very tasty, guess the chicken broth used in cooking the rice is well balanced.
Their light soya sauce mixed with sesame oil, on the steamed chicken is absolutely delicious. Get the taugeh as well. A simple dish yet very satisfying.
Parking might be a challange, just park further upfront from the police station and a good walk after a good meal is most welcoming.
Besides chicken rice, there is a good CKT, pan mee stall as well. Maybe next week will return for pan mee.
This dish tonight is the highlight of the night. Cheers
